FORMAT
SPACING: Single spacing only; Two Columns except for Heading, Title, and Abstract ; Charts/Tables should fit into the paper; (NOTE: Please change from two-column page layout to one-column page layout when placing charts/tables, then revert page to two-column page layout)
TITLE:
The title of a paper consists of the title itself, unnumbered and left-adjusted between the margins. Use a serif typeface (e.g. Times New Roman), 22 point, bold font for the title and 12 point for headings. Leave 2 blank lines after title and then give the names of the authors. Do not include e-mail or affliction with your educational institution here. Multiple authors should be delimited by a single blank line. Use a serif typeface (Times New Roman), 10 point. Leave at least three blank lines after the last author. Please do not put any acknowledgements or thanks here. You may include them at the end of the body of the paper before the references.
Abstracts should be 75-150 words in length. Indent 2 cm or 3/4" from left and right margins for abstract. Skip 2 lines before and after abstract. Start the abstract with the sequence "Abstract:" (without the quotes) in 10 point bold-face without a line break after "Abstract:". (see sample submission)
After completing the abstract, skip one line and list “About Authors:” List each authors name, their title and educational institution or agency.
After listing the authors, complete up to six key words (education, integration, elementary education, special education, physical education,etc..)
After completing the six key words, you will be finished with your first page. The body of the manuscript will begin on page 2.
HEADINGS:
Only sectional headings (see example (click on sample)). Do not use headers. Use a typeface with serifs for all levels of headings. It is recommended to use Times New Roman. Leave sufficient place for the title to stand out clearly. Leave 2 lines blank above and 1 line below the headings. If a heading is directly followed by a lower level heading the 2 blank lines before the lower level heading should be omitted. The title should be centered between the margins, as well as all lower level headings. The body of the document should be left-justified.
NUMBERING:
Do not number pages. If accepted, the JOTI, SETE, or NTE Journals will number them for you. Again, please do NOT number pages.
COLUMNS:
Two Columns should be created throughout the manuscript except for the Title, Authors, and Abstract. In cases in which you have tables or charts, only use one column. WORD 2007 or 2003---If you use WORD, you can choose the number of columns that you create by clicking on "Page Layout" which is listed in the toolbar of WORD and then clicking on columns. Choose two columns in which the manuscript is divided into two sections on the left and right on each page for your manuscripts except for the title, author, and abstract. For WORD 2003, you may have to choose "paragraph" or options.
